What is the Gold Standard ProgramTM?

The Neighborhood Guy'sTM Gold Standard ProgramTM is the only program in the nation to offer total home maintenance solutions combined with a family safety and security program all for one monthly fee based on the square footage of your home!

This innovative program is designed to give you back the "lost weekends" and peace of mind. We identify problems, give you professional, consistent, and timely maintenance of your home and correct "small" problems before they become bigger and ultimately more expensive ones. We rarely need to refer because we have "in-house craftsmen" with years of experience and your service is scheduled when you want it each month.

Placing your home under our management and care will allow you, our client to maintain your very busy lifestyle without the hassle of having to manage your home's maintenance issues. You'll no longer have to take the time to search for reputable and trustworthy companies to perform services on all your home's needs or worse - call numerous contractors with the hope of getting just one to come out!

The Neighborhood Guy'sTM Gold Standard ProgramTM is an exclusive 12 month plan that offers every level of home maintenance. Our plan is so complete and encompassing, the only two items you'll have to worry about are your lawn and your pool...and if you want us to manage those, we will!

What Does It Cost?

For 6.5-8 cents per square foot, per month, our one of a kind, comprehensive package brings in Neighborhood GuyTM team to keep your home healthy all year. It also provides you with a vital safety and security package designed exclusively for your home and family. We provide you more, at less cost with greater frequency than any other program.

If you choose to pay for the entire 12 month program in advance, the cost is 6.5 cents per square foot. If you choose to charge it on your credit card on a monthly basis, the cost is 8 cents per square foot.

How Does the Gold StandardTM Program Work?

STEP 1
Call The Neighborhood GuyTM to Sign Up for Our 12 Month Program

Contact The Neighborhood GuyTM and you will receive the necessary information to sign up for the program. Unlike other maintenance programs, the cost is determined by square footage not a set fee. If you choose to pay for the entire 12 month program in advance, the cost is 6.5 cents per square foot. If you choose to charge it on your credit card on a monthly basis, the cost is 8 cents per square foot.

Once you have completed the sign up process for the maintenance program you are ready to schedule your "benchmark" inspection and evaluation of your home.

STEP 2
Schedule Your "Benchmark" Inspection and Evaluation

Our Benchmark inspection and evaluation provides you with complete information on how we will maintain your home during the 12 month program. This visit includes a visual inspection with digital photos of your home and approximately 250 separate evaluations of everything - from a roof and flashing inspection down to and including the style, type and wattage of the light bulbs. Yes, the Gold Standard ProgramTM even includes free replacement of your light bulbs for as long as you're a Gold StandardTM Program client!

This Benchmark inspection is also designed to evaluate the current health of your home. You will receive an itemized checklist identifying specific problem areas that require immediate repair prior to the startup of The Gold StandardTM Program. Any items needing repair must be scheduled and completed two weeks prior to your maintenance program start date.

These checklist items will be invoiced separately from the program fee and carry The Neighborhood GuyTM 13 month warranty for work and materials we provide. You will also receive an extra 10% discount for any repair work we do!

The purpose of this pre-program checklist is to prevent larger and more costly repairs in the future. Addressing these repair items prior to the start of your 12 month program gives you the assurance that your home is at the Gold StandardTM maintainability level when your program begins. In the long run, it will also result in less costly maintenance and repair costs as we maintain your home.

STEP 3
The Neighborhood Guy'sTM Gold StandardTM Program Tailors Your Home's Maintenance Program Around Your Schedule!

We will work with you to identify the best day of each month to schedule your monthly Home Manager Inspection. You will be scheduled for the same time on the same day of each month! You'll also receive a phone call or e-mail reminding you of our scheduled visit.

Should you need any extra services performed while the Home Manager is there, such as pictures hung, or a doggie door installed, all you'll have to do is call the office or e-mail a request prior to your next monthly home visit and we'll do our best to take care of it during your scheduled Home Manager's monthly inspection visit!

"Special request" forms are included in your Home Manager's Binder for your convenience. You can even request extra services from us such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and gutter cleaning.

STEP 4
Sit Back and Relax!

You will be assigned your very own Home Manager who will see you at the same time, on the same day, each and every month. Home Managers will follow the scheduled checklist items and perform necessary maintenance work at each monthly visit.

What's Not Included in the Gold Standard ProgramTM?

As an informed consumer, it's important to know what is not included in the Gold StandardTM Program.

Any repairs or replacement needed to the:

  • air conditioning and furnace units
  • pool equipment
  • water heaters
  • gutters, shingles, window glass or skylights
  • plumbing fixtures

are not included in the program.

The program is designed solely as a maintenance program and should not be mistaken for an insurance or replacement program.

During your Home Manager Inspection visits, should we identify the need for replacement of one of these items, we will be happy to refer you to one of our Trusted Partners, or you may request repair and replacement services by using a "special request" form.

Such items and services will be referred to our Trusted Partners, and invoiced separately. However, you'll still get the same great guarantee of excellence and service, a 10% discount and a 13 month warranty on any labor and materials that are provided to you.
