The Neighborhood GuyTM Foundation award is open to any young person between the ages of seven to eighteen. The nominees must exemplify the following characteristics and have taken initiative to make their family, school or community a better place.

General Criteria for a Nominee

• Cares about the welfare of people
• Loves to learn and is open to learning from others
• Obeys parents, teachers and other authority figures
• Receives correction well
• Is well-behaved and is an example to other children
• Has a positive attitude

Specific Criteria for a Nominee

• Is involved in extra-curricular activities
• Works towards excellence
• Loves a challenge
• Is determined
• Has goals
• Is creative
• Handles responsibility well

Nomination Criteria

• Nominators and nominees cannot be related
• Nominees cannot be related to the following:
  • Board Members of The Neighborhood GuyTM Foundation
  • Employees of Milford Construction Services Inc., The Neighborhood GuyTM Handyman Services or any of its affiliates
• Board Members cannot nominate a candidate
• Nominees must be between the ages of 7-18 years of age
• Nominees must reside within the Mansfield and Arlington School Districts
